Registration

To be a voting or non-voting member at the AR-OK Synod Assembly, you must register. Please remember to add your email address to the registration form. Fill out this form and return it to the synod office at 4803 S Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK 74105 or lbunch@arokoffice.org.

Early bird registration is due before April 13.

The last day to register with meals is April 26.

Meals

Meals for the assembly are provided by various ministries within AR-OK Synod. All money paid for the meals goes to the ministry and they plan, prepare and serve the meal at the assembly. This has been proven to be a very good fund raiser for the various ministries. Thank you for supporting these ministries in our synod!

Assembly Offering-Blast off for Books!

Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.

An important part of the Gathering's ministry are the two pre-events, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE), a faith formation and leadership development event primarily for youth of color, and the tAble, a gathering that gathers, blesses and empowers youth with disabilities.

In joining the Gathering's Blast Off for Books campaign, you will help ensure bright futures for Houston’s students. The books you donate will be distributed at community book fairs, camps and other events around the city as part of the Gathering’s Service Learning experience. By putting books in the hands of Houston’s economically disadvantaged students, you can help change lives.

Please see the flyer, or the Amazon Wish List for a list of books we will be collecting for the children of Houston. Note that we will only accept these books (new or lightly used).

Bring your books, from the above list, to the synod assembly and they will go on the bus with the youth to Houston!

Synod assembly offering- Into the Light

Into the Light exists to provide refuge and restoration for minor female survivors of sexual exploitation and to bring awareness and education to the issue of human sex trafficking.  You can learn more about Into the Light at  https://www.intothelightus.org/
